About:
My photographic projects concern themes of gender, health issues. Research is deeply rooted methodology within my work. Through this I question notions of truth, misinformation and the function of images in our historic and modern culture.
I am fascinated by the interconnected and holistic nature of life, continually searching for links to historic and contemporary experiences. A love of history, museums and archives has drawn my interest to human connection to objects, exploring how way they function as part of our individualised experiences across history.
I have given my time to volunteer for a number of different organisations concerning themes of environmentalism, art and history. Which has both heavily informed my own practice and given me invaluable skills by working close with incredible and proactive people who make things happen.
